Multiples of 11/12

Multiples of 11/12

We define the multiples of 11/12 as the product of any integer multiplied by 11/12. Therefore, to create a list of multiples of 11/12 we start by multiplying 11/12 by one, then we multiply 11/12 by two, then we multiply 11/12 by three, and so on.

To multiply a fraction by an integer, we leave the denominator alone and multiply the numerator by the integer. It is impossible to give you a list of all multiples of 11/12 because the list goes on forever. However, here is the math to calculate the beginning list of multiples of 11/12.

11/12 × 1 = 11/12

11/12 × 2 = 22/12

11/12 × 4 = 33/12

11/12 × 4 = 44/12

11/12 × 5 = 55/12

11/12 × 6 = 66/12

11/12 × 7 = 77/12

11/12 × 8 = 88/12

11/12 × 9 = 99/12

11/12 × 10 = 110/12

11/12 × 11 = 121/12

11/12 × 12 = 132/12

We have simplified the fractions above for you. Below are the multiples of 11/12 in their lowest possible terms:

11/12 = 11/12

22/12 = 1 5/6

33/12 = 2 3/4

44/12 = 3 2/3

55/12 = 4 7/12

66/12 = 5 1/2

77/12 = 6 5/12

88/12 = 7 1/3

99/12 = 8 1/4

110/12 = 9 1/6

121/12 = 10 1/12

132/12 = 11

As we stated above, the list of multiples of 11/12 goes on forever because the product of 11/12 multiplied by any whole number (integer) is a multiple of 11/12. You can also create a list of multiples of 11/12 if you keep adding 11/12 like this:

11/12
11/12 + 11/12 = 22/12
11/12 + 11/12 + 11/12 = 33/12
11/12 + 11/12 + 11/12 + 11/12 = 44/12

Again, the list can go on forever, because you can continue adding 11/12 to the list. Therefore, the list of multiples of 11/12 is ∞ (infinite).
